FAQ

Stay: questions executives ask

What are the best hotels for business travelers in 2026?
The strongest business hotels in 2026 combine sub-20-minute access to the financial district, reliable in-room workspace and wired-grade Wi-Fi, executive-lounge breakfast before 6:30am, and a corporate rate that includes breakfast and internet. Our Stay desk tracks openings and brand strategy daily, and our Best Business Hotels 2026 guide ranks the properties by hub city.
How do corporate hotel rates work?
Corporate hotel rates are negotiated annually through an RFP cycle, typically loaded as a static negotiated rate (LRA or non-LRA) tied to your company's booking volume in a market. Dynamic percentage-off-BAR discounts are increasingly common for lower-volume programs. Rate loading errors are the single biggest source of leakage, so audit rates in your booking tool after each RFP round.
What is the difference between an executive floor and a standard room?
An executive or club floor bundles lounge access (breakfast, all-day refreshments, evening canapés), private check-in, meeting-room credits, and pressing services. For travelers with two or more client meetings a day, the lounge usually pays for itself against per-diem meal spend.
How often is the Stay wire updated?
Continuously. We poll public RSS feeds from leading hotel and business-travel publishers throughout the day, and every headline links out to the original publisher.
Can I get Stay headlines by email?
Yes. Subscribe to the Stay alert on this page to receive a morning digest of hotel and lodging intelligence, scoped to this beat only.
